Mother of slain journalist Arshad Sharif filed an miscellaneous application in the Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday, seeking investigation of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, PTI leader Murad Saeed and ex-PTI leader Faisal Vawda in the murder case of her son, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In the application, she opined that firstly people in Pakistan should be questioned with respect to the case. “Several people have already made different claims about the murder and the conspiracy behind it,” she said in the application, adding she and members of her family had been kept completely in dark about findings of the joint investigation team (JIT).

She further said that the family members also had no idea as to how many people had been interrogated so far.
