Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan‘s council Khawaja Haris following the direction of Islamabad High Court, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

His summon notice comes after the alleged arrest of Imran Khan’s lawyer Naeem Haider Panjotha for an investigation into the social media posts of Judge Humayun Dilawar.

The reports said, Naeem went to FIA headquarters to join the inquiry into Humayun Dilawar's Facebook posts, where the FIA cybercrime wing grilled him for nearly eight hours.

In light of Naeem Panjotha’s statements, FIA also summoned Khawaja Haris on August 9 at 2 am.

Khawaja Haris would be brought under investigation on the instructions of the Islamabad High Court.
