Gold prices soaring high in Pakistan despite decreasing rates in int’l market

The rates of gold decreased in the international market on Wednesday but the Pakistani jewellers market witnessed its prices high.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, this continues on the third day when the prices of yellow metal decreased in the international market.
On Wednesday, in the International market, the price of pure gold of 24 karats decreased by $1 per ounce to $1926 per ounce.
While the price of pure gold of 24 karats increased by Rs1,100 per tola in the Pakistani market on Wednesday.
After this increase in prices, the pure gold of 24 karats traded at Rs2,22,200 per tola in the local jewellery market.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat pure gold increased by Rs943 and traded at Rs1,90,501 per 10 grams.
The yellow metal of 22 karats of gold which is usually used for jewellery making, sold at the rate of Rs1,74,626 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, the price of 24 karat silver per tola and 10 grams also remained the same at Rs2,750 and Rs2,357.68 respectively.
