India beat Pakistan 4-0 in a group match of the Asian Championship 2023, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.  

The defeat in the hands of Indian players ended Pakistan’s hope to advance into the semi-final. Pakistan could win only match out of four matches.    

India played confidently and completely dominated the match played in Chennai, India, while Pakistan were always playing catch-up.

The outcome saw India finish as the winner after the group-stage encounters, while Pakistan are eliminated from the tournament.

Skipper Harmanpreet Singh scored twice, with both goals coming from penalty corners.

Now, Green shirts are out of the race to the semis. India had already sealed a place in the final four.
