Chitral won the final match of the Shandur polo festival defeating Gilgit-Biltistan by 7-5 goals, 24News HD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the report, Peshawar Corps Commander Lieutenant General Hasan Azhar Hayat was the special guest of the final match.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Authority Spokesperson Muhammad Saad told the media that a large number of local and foreign tourists participated in the festival.
While various bands including Kailashi dance performed in the final match, the spokesperson of the KP Tourism Authority said.
In the festival, paragliding was also performed brilliantly and students of different schools presented special national songs to make more meaningful it, he said.
