Foreign exchange reserves increased during PPP’s tenure, says Zardari

Meets party leaders at Bilawal House Lahore

Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said Friday that the PPP was the only party during the tenure of which the foreign exchange reserves had increased, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He stated these remarks during a meeting with the party leaders in Bilawal House, Lahore.

“Exports increased and people got employment during the tenure of the PPP,” Asif Zardari claimed.

PPP leaders including Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Rana Farooq Saeed, Mehreen Anwar Raja, Faisal Mir, Tanveer Ashraf Kaira, Barrister Aamir and Naeem Aslam Kiyani called on Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House, Lahore.

The current political situation of the country was discussed during the meeting.
