The former prime minister skipped an appearance before the joint inquiry team in the cypher and audio leaks probe on Tuesday.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, he was due to appear before the team at noon.

In his appearance on July 25, he was questioned about the cypher for three hours.

The probe team raised questions regarding his statements and in light of his answers, the team called him again

The FIA also issued a unilateral action notice for skipping the appearance.
