Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has convened a meeting of the federal cabinet, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.

According to sources, the premier called the meeting at Prime Minister's House on Monday.

The meeting will review the country's political and economic situation, the insiders added.
