Car-riding thief caught red-handed after breaking into a shop in Karachi

A car-riding thief was caught red-handed while stealing after breaking into a shop in the limits of Guzri police station Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Sunday.

According to police, the accused came in a Corolla car, got down, broke the lock of the shop, and entered into it with the intention of theft.

Meanwhile, a police official reached the spot on tip-off and stood outside waiting. As soon as the accused came out, the official arrested the accused red-handed.

Police said the accused had been identified as Zameer Attari. Drugs were also recovered from the vehicle of the accused during the search.

The accused was breaking the lock of the eyeglass shop in DHA Phase-7 and was stealing, police said.

The accused had been arrested earlier by officials of Methadar police station, police said.

The records related to the vehicle of the accused are being checked. The accused used to commit theft by breaking the locks of shops in a Corolla car, the police said.
