The medical panel has declared star athlete Arshad Nadeem fully fit, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

President of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan Muhammad Akram Sahi received Arshad’s fitness report and expressed hope the star will prove his mettle in the upcoming World Athletics Championship.

Arshad Nadeem is busy training under the supervision of his coach Salman Butt. He will leave for Hangry on August 20 and his javelin throw contest is scheduled for August 27.

The federation chief reiterated the resolve to continue backing the star.
