The Army Act (Amendment) Bill 2023 which was passed by the Senate and the National Assembly still awaits the President of Pakistan’s approval, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The bill was sent to President Dr Arif Alvi by the National Assembly secretariat on August 1 for approval. However, the President is yet to sign the bill.

It is to be noted here that today is the last day for the President to sign the bill. If not ratified, the bill will be sent back to the National Assembly secretariat.
