Veteran actress Bushra Ansari has publicly spoken out in defense of former husband, Asim Ansari, following recent criticism directed at him.

Bushra Ansari and her daughter appeared in an interview on a morning show where the senior star talked about multiple aspects of her life, career, and relationship with her former husband.

Bushra Ansari said: “I will not tolerate anyone speaking against my ex-partner, Asim Ansari and if anyone does I think it is my it’s my moral duty to come to his defense.”

"If someone tries to say something negative about him in my presence, I immediately shut it down." She added.

Bushra also highlighted the good side of Iqbal Ansari, adding that he is the father of her daughters and has consistently been a source of support and love for them. Despite difficulties in their marriage, he never abandoned his daughters.
