The Banigala police in Islamabad registered a case on Monday according to which a man forced his wife to drink after exchanging hot words with him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per the FIR, over a domestic dispute the accused with the help of his father forced his wife to drink acid.

Victim Humaira Noreen married Wahab Ali three years ago and has a son with him. Both often quarreled over Wahab was jobless. On July 5, they again had arguments over their son’s milk which led Wahab to beat his wife.

After which her father-in-law got hold of her and her husband forced acid down her throat. Humaira was rushed to PIMS Hospital where she was under treatment.

Banigala Police registered a case and were carrying out further investigation.
