CM Naqvi to head apex committee meeting on July 14

Reviews proposals for development projects in Sahiwal division

Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi will chair a meeting of the apex committee on July 14 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to official sources, the meeting will be attended by the senior military officers including Lahore’s corps commander and the top leadership of Punjab.

A discussion will be held on National Action Plan, May 9 violence and other issues.

The Punjab Home Department will issue a notification in this regard today.

In another meeting, the Punjab caretaker chief minister reviewed proposals for the development projects in the Sahiwal division.

It was decided in the meeting to construct a modern cardiology block in the new building of Sahiwal District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and a children’s hospital in the old building of the DHQ hospital.

The six-and-a-half-kilometer two-lane GT Road passing through the city will be rehabilitated.

The chief minister also reviewed the city development project for Sahiwal and water recharge and waste management company projects.

A deadline was given to complete Sahiwal-Pakpattan Road by September. A project for the rehabilitation of small canals was also reviewed.

Provincial ministers and officers concerned attended the meeting.
