Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Communications Minister Maulana Asad Mehmood Monday praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s strong response to the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

They held a meeting with the prime minister at the PMO and discussed the ongoing situation. They also lauded the premier for his effort to put the country back on the economic betterment track.

PM Shehbaz said that getting the country out of the economic crisis and signing the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was not possible without the help of the members of the coalition government.

Faz flayed the acts of hurting the sentiments of the Muslim world. He said premier-led demos sent a strong message to the world and the persons behind such acts.

Ayaz Sadiq, Azam Nazir Tarar, Malik Ahmed and Rana Tanveer were also present at the meeting.
