Gold rates start rising in Pakistan

Opposing the international market rates, the Pakistani market witnessed a big increase in gold prices on Monday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24 karats pure gold was increased by Rs800 per tola to Rs2,09,000 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of gold of 24 karats also increased by Rs686 to Rs1,79,184 per 10 grams while the 22 karats of gold traded at Rs1,64,252 per 10 grams.

In the international market on Wednesday, the price of gold remained unchanged and traded at US$1,925 per ounce.

The price of 24 karats of pure silver also remained unchanged and traded at Rs2,480 per tola and 10 grams of 24 karats of silver at Rs2,126.20 per 10 grams.
