PTI Tank leader quits party over May 9 violence

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf General Secretary, Chapter Tank, resigned from his party position on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PTI General Secretary Tank and former tehsil mayor candidate Malik Muhammad Ramzan Shoori resigned from the basic membership of the party.
Addressing a press conference in Dera Ismail Khan, Shoori strongly condemned the May 9 violence associated with the PTI. He said that he felt ashamed over the damage done to the government buildings and military establishments on May 9.
He said a political party did something which the enemy could not do so in 75 years. He was of the view that everything was done under a well thought out plan.
He announced that he, along with his companions, is quitting the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf today.
