The Pakistan Army has sprung into action to help people hit heavy rain and storm in KP, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.

Heavy rain and storm wreaked havoc in KP claiming more than 20 lives and injuring several people.

Reportedly, the districts of Bannu, Lakki Marwat and Karak are the worst-hit areas.

Army teams have reached the affected areas and launched the rescue and relief operation.

The emergency has been imposed in the government hospitals of the Bannu district.
