Educational institutes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will remain closed till Saturday as the authorities have announced the closure in the wake of the PTI protests, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, countrywide protests have erupted following the arrest of the PTI chairman Imran Khan from Islamabad High Court’s premises.

The KP education advisor Rehmat Salam said educational institutions both in private and public sectors will remain closed across the province till Saturday in light of the ’emergency conditions’ prevailing in the country.

The examinations conducted under the auspices of the Education Board were also canceled, he added in a statement.
