Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Justice (r) Maqbool Baqir has demanded Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar to return to Sindh Rs22 billion which, as per his claim, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) had collected from people of the province illegally, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The chief minister has also requested the prime minister to order the FBR to stop such collections.

The text of the letter says that after the passage of the 18th Amendment, the bureau could not receive Workers’ Welfare and Worker’s Participation Fund.

The CM has further written that PSO, PPL and Fauji Group too have been making payments to the FBR.
