KP Assembly passes resolution against interference of institutions in politics

The KP Assembly passed the resolution against the interference of institutions in politics by the majority, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The house also condemned the arrests of the PTI lawmakers from the parliament and raised the demand for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan.

The resolution stated every institution should perform its work within its constitutional limits.

It added: The intervention of some army officers is a violation of their oath. Deviation from an oath falls under the category of treason.

“This assembly urges the army to court-martial these officers.

It paid tribute to the martyrs of the army personnel 

However, the resolution claimed that the 'stubbornness and self-interest of a few officers' damaged democracy.

it went on: "Officers involved in politics should stay away from politics.

"Politics should be freed from military intervention.

The KP assembly held the federal government responsible for the 'attack on the National Assembly'.
