Sheikh Rashid dubs arrests from inside Parliament ‘inappropriate’

Former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that arrests from inside the Parliament are inappropriate, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to media outside a court in Islamabad on Tuesday, Sheikh Rashid said “Wait till September 30 and you will see how the sky changes its colour.”

Earlier, a judicial magistrate reserved the decision on the application of Sheikh Rashid for acquittal in a case registered in Aabpara police station.

Sheikh Rashid appeared in the court of Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mehmood with his lawyer Sardar Masroof.

The lawyer of applicant told the court that all the accused of the case have already been acquitted so it is requested to also let Sheikh Rashid go.

Sardar Masroof Advocate said that a case of violation of Section 144 was registered against his client.
