Pakistani renowned musician Meesha Shafi, took to her Instagram handle in order to extend warm wishes and congratulations to the showbiz couple Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin Ikram for announcing their first pregnancy on social media.

“Lovely image. Congratulations to the parents to be”, she wrote while sharing the couple’s pregnancy picture.

Minal and Ahsan had announced their first pregnancy news through ‘Hello! Magazine’, which claimed it marked the first pregnancy cover reveal in Pakistan.

To clear the misinformation, Shafi shed light on a historical moment, emphasizing that the concept of pregnancy reveals through magazine covers in Pakistan isn't entirely new.

She wrote, “Caption states this to be the first pregnancy cover reveal in Pakistan. And that’s incorrect. I’m pretty sure that was mine in 2010 for ‘Paper Magazine’… will try and dig it up.”

She shared the pictures that shows the covers of the singer proudly showing off her baby bump in the shoot.

She was donning a sleek black outfit paired with matching heels and bright red lipstick.

Shafi also stated that she would not be having another baby again.

 

On the work front, Shafi’s recent musical releases are, ‘Saranjaam’, ‘Aya Lariye’ and ‘Muaziz Saarif’.
