Govt taking measures to stop street crimes: Mohsin Naqvi

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the police department is taking all possible measures to stop street crimes and robberies, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.  

He was talking to the people during his visit to the bereaved house of the late Ahmed Afsar in Rawalpindi to offer condolences to his family.

The young citizen Ahmed Afsar was killed by robbers during a robbery bit at his clinic on Sunday.

Sharing in the grief of the bereaved family, he prayed for peace to the departed soul and much-needed strength for the grief-stricken family to bear the inconsolable loss.

He offered Fatiha for the deceased on the occasion.

“We will fulfill the responsibility to protect the life and property of the citizens,” he said, adding that I stand with every victim, justice will be provided to the family of the deceased youth soon.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi added the operation against the criminal gangs is going on so that the citizens can live in peace.

“All institutions, including the police, are active to maintain law and order,” he concluded.
