A man sacrificed his life while rescuing his drowning son in the Haro river in Hassan Abdal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Friday.

According to the details, the father-son duo was bathing in the Haro river near Fauji Mills when this unfortunate incident occurred.

The boy started drowning and his father tried to rescue him. In rescue efforts, the man was successful in saving the life of the son but lost his life.

The deceased was identified as Muhammad Mehtab, a resident of Wah Cantt.

According to Rescue 1122, the dead body of the deceased has been recovered and transferred to the hospital.
