A brother named Adil Hussain fatally shot his sister, Sajida, after she failed her ninth-grade math exam in a tragic incident on Atari Road in Okara on Sunday morning.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the siblings argued over her failure, which escalated to the point of violence.

The police report details that the argument took place while the mother was sleeping with her children.

Adil, in a fit of rage, allegedly shouted at his sister, threatening to teach her a lesson for both arguing with him and failing the exam.

Despite their mother's pleas, Adil opened fire, hitting Sajida with six bullets, ultimately killing her.

After the shooting, Adil fled the scene with the weapon. Local police and rescue teams were quickly alerted, and they rushed the severely injured Sajida to the hospital.

Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries en route. The victim's mother, Sajida Bibi, has filed a murder case against Adil.

The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination at the THQ hospital, and the police have launched a search operation to apprehend the suspect.
