Asian Hockey Championship trials starting on July 14

The trials for the Hockey team of Pakistan for the Asian Champions Trophy will take place from the 13th of July, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The training of camp for the potential players of the team has been set at pitch 2 of the National Hockey Stadium. There are 31 players in the training camp for the team.
According to the sources, the championship will be hosted by Chennai in India next month. It will be the first time for India to host the championship.
The selection committee will choose the finalized squad from amongst the 31 players at camp after trials on July 13.
South Korea is currently defending the championship trophy while Pakistan and India have the most numbers of wins.
Pakistan, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, China and India are the six participant teams in the Asian Champions Trophy 2023 which will be played from August 3 till August 12.
