Imran Khan’s sister booked in yet another graft case

Dr Uzma Khan, sister of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, was booked in yet another corruption case on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) of Punjab registered a case against Uzma for transferring 310 kanals of land in Jhang in her name through forgery.
Police also arrested the naib tehsildar and patwari of Athara Hazari in connection with the case.
The ACE had on June 12, 2023 said that a fraud case had been registered against a sister and brother-in-law of former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chief Imran Khan for buying 5,261-Kanals of expensive land in Layyah district at cheaper rates through fraud.
A spokesman for the ACE on Sunday said on Twitter that Dr Uzma Khan, sister of Imran Khan, and her husband Ahad Majeed had bought the piece of land worth six billion rupees in just 13 crore.
The ACE Layyah circle compiled a report before registering the case against Dr Uzam and her husband.
According to the first information report (FIR), Imran Khan’s sister had bought 5,261 kanals in the Nawan Kot area of Layyah at a cost of Rs130m through fraud and political pressure while the land’s actual price was Rs6 billion. The land was bought near the Greater Thal Canal project.
