An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore has adjourned the hearing of the restoration of interim bail petition of PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in six different cases till November 21, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.

The proceedings unfolded in the presence of ATC Judge Muhammad Arshad Javed, where further arguments regarding Shah’s interim bail application restoration were asked.

PTI leader Qureshi is facing trial for his alleged involvement in the arson attacks at the Muslim League-Nawaz office situated in Model Town, Jinnah House, and Askari Tower on May 9. Shah Mehmood Qureshi is also accused of burning a container in front of Gulberg National Park.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s lawyer filed an application to revive Shah Mehmood Qureshi's interim bail application. Earlier, his interim bail was rejected due to his arrest.

The lawyer pleaded that Shah Mehmood Qureshi did not appear in the court intentionally. His petition was dismissed for non-compliance, the interim bail petition should be reinstated, the lawyer pleaded.

The court adjourned the hearing on Shah Mehmood Qureshi's interim bail application till November 21.
