Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader Hammad Azhar Saturday said PTI is the largest political party inside and outside the parliament country, but we were not consulted on the matter of the caretaker prime minister, reported the 214NewsHD TV channel.   

Using his social media platform X, he said now there is a heavy responsibility on the shoulders of  Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar.

“We expect that he will ensure elections within three months following the constitution and will not allow any encroachment on the democratic rights of the people,” he remarked.

The former federal minister said it is necessary to give a fair environment to all the political parties in the election campaign.

Holding a free and fair election is the need of the hour and vital for the country, he added.

Hamad Azhar continued that hundreds of PTI activists are currently imprisoned in fake cases and there is a lot of anxiety and doubts prevailing in the nation.

The Caretaker Prime Minister will have to take immediate notice of this matter as well, Hamad Azhar hinted, adding Pakistan cannot afford any new adventure at this critical time.
