Kakar to take oath as Caretaker Prime Minister on August 14

The newly-appointed caretaker prime minister of Pakistan Anwaarul Haq Kakar Saturday decided to take oath on August 14, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi will administer the oath of the new caretaker prime minister at the President's House on Independence Day.

The oath ceremony will be held in the afternoon on Monday, August 14.

Earlier in the day, President Alvi issued a notification to appoint the Balochistan politician as the eighth caretaker prime minister of the country after outgoing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in National Assembly Raja Riaz reached a consensus and signed on the advice sent to the president for appointing Kakar as the caretaker prime minister.
