Punjab govt put CEOs of 11 cities on high alert for MDCAT

Punjab Health Department has asked the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs)  of 11 cities to remain on high alert and maintain a high readiness level to meet any eventuality during the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) test scheduled to be held on August 27, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a notification, the CEOs (Health) of Lahore, Rawalpindi Multan, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Gujrat, D.G. Khan, and Sahiwal have been put on high alert.

The CEOs (Health) are asked to maintain a 24-hour readiness level by ensuring the availability of the necessary human resources i.e. Doctors, Nurses, paramedics, and supporting staff, equipment, and essential medicines at all health facilities in the respective district to ensure the provision of a foolproof medical cover during the activity.

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Commission (PMDC) is regularly holding the (MDCAT in all provinces for admission to public and private sector Medical and Dental Colleges across the province.

The govt has decided to keep the syllabus of the exams the same as last year to facilitate the candidates.
