Gold prices continue to decline in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan continued to decline for the second consecutive day after the rupee made massive gains against the dollar on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The price of 24 karats of pure gold decreased by Rs500 per tola and Rs429 per 10 grams to settle at Rs204,000 and Rs174,897 respectively.

Meanwhile, the price of the yellow metal increased for the second time by $14 per ounce to settle at $1,946 per ounce in the international market on Wednesday.

The price of pure silver of 24 karats increased by Rs70 per tola to Rs2,550 per tola in the Pakistani market while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs60 to Rs2,186.21 per 10 grams.

It is worth mentioning that yesterday, the gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply by Rs4,500 and was sold at Rs204,500 per tola.
