Cycle race held in Malam Jabba by Pak Army

Pakistan Army has organized a cycle race in Swat Valley in which 50 national-level cyclists including six women from across the country participated, the 24newsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
The purpose of the race was to highlight the peaceful atmosphere of Swat Valley and promote tourism in the region.
The 40-km long cycle race passed through Fizaghat, Mangalore, Taligram, and Kushwara and ended at Malam Jabba.
At the end of the competition, prizes were also distributed among the participants and the winning players.
The efforts of the Pakistan Army to restore peace and promote tourism in the valley have been welcomed by the locals including people from all walks of life.
Female cyclist from Islamabad Samreen Khan says that the Malam Jabba track is suitable for mountain cycling. ‘We enjoy a lot, the valley was beautiful, the track was fantastic, and we hope the management arranged this kind of festival every year.’
Cyclists also showed their skills on the rocky track, men and women who participated in the race, entertained themselves, and ask the government to encourage and promote such healthy activities.
