A woman and her three children died after drowning in the Kallar Syedan nullah, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

The woman with her children came to the nullah to wash clothes.

Her children went into deep water while playing near her.

She dived into the water in a bid to save her children but to no avail.

The locals rushed to the site and retrieved the bodies.

The ages of the children are stated to be between five and twelve years, sources in the police said.
