NAB Rawalpindi summons Bushra Bibi tomorrow, her husband on Thursday

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned former first lady Bushra Bibi and her husband to Rawalpindi separately in two different cases of the transfer of 190 million pounds from England and receiving the Toshakhana gifts.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the NAB summoned has served both notices to Bushra Bibi and the former Prime Minister at their residence in Zaman Park Lahore on Monday.

The channel report said Bushra Bibi has been summoned in the case of the transfer of 190 million pounds from the UK and directed her to physically appear in the NAB Rawalpindi office tomorrow (Tuesday, June 13).

While the NAB also summoned Bushra Bibi's husband in the case of receiving the Toshakhana gifts on Thursday, June 15 in the same office in Rawalpindi.

The notice served to Bushra Bibi in Zaman Park residence said despite repeated summons, Bushra Bibi did not appear and she cannot be given any more respite so she must appear at the NAB Rawalpindi tomorrow at 11:00 am.

The notice served to the former Prime Minister at his residence in Zaman Park said he had received a total of 108 gifts as the premier but had not deposited 58 gifts in the Toshakhana.

The notice of the NAB directed Bushra Bibi's husband to appear in the NAB Rawalpindi office on Thursday, June 15 at 11:00 am.
