Work on shut CPEC projects restarted: Minister

Federal Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir has declared that the government has restarted work on shut CPEC projects, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Monday, the federal minister said these projects were halted by the previous government but now these have been reactivated and will be completed as early as possible.

To a question, Khurram Dastgir said efforts were being made to achieve zero loadshedding in the country as 1200MW of inexpensive electricity has been added to the system.

The minister further said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has worked very hard for electricity generation.

To another query, he said Rs58 billion relief will be given for the tubewells being operated in Balochistan.
