A district and sessions court in Islamabad Tuesday remanded ex-MNA Ali Wazir into the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for three days in a case of inciting insurrection on social media, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ali Wazir was produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Shabbir Bhatti.

The FIA’s investigation officer had demanded a 10-day physical remand of Ali Wazir from the court.

“The device is to be recovered from Ali Wazir. His physical remand should be given,” the investigation officer pleaded with the court.

The court, however, handed over Ali Wazir to the FIA on a three-day physical remand and ordered to produce him on September 15.
