The Kahna police claimed to have nailed three persons involved in raping a mentally-challenged girl on Monday, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The police arrested Kajal Bibi, her brother-in-law Ashfaq and his friend Azhar in the case while raids are underway to nab other accused.

The Model SP said Kajal lured the mentally-challenged girl to her home where she was gang raped.

The SP added the victim’s health deteriorated a few days ago and the doctors revealed her pregnancy. Police have registered a case and an investigation is on.

The accused have been hurling threats upon the relatives of the victim to shun pursuing the case. However, the SP vowed to bring to book the culprits at all costs.
