New rain spell to hit Pakistan from Sept 15

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rains from September 15 to 20 in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Gulf winds will enter the upper regions of the country within the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department has said.
Rain with strong winds is likely to lash different cities including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala and Sheikhupura.
There will also be a risk of landslides in the upper regions of the country including Murree, Galyat, Kashmir and Swat due to rains.
Westerly winds will also enter the country from September 16, the Meteorological Department has said.
Thunderstorms are likely in Lakki Marwat, Faisalabad and Karak between September 16 and 18.
There is a risk of flooding in the nullahs of Swat, Mansehra, Islamabad and Rawalpindi between September 17 and 19.
There is also a risk of landslides in Murree, Galyat, Kashmir and Swat between September 16 and 18.
All the institutions concerned have been directed to be concerned.
