In a vibrant display of patriotism and commitment to environmental sustainability, the Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Alumni, alongside faculty, employees, and PhD scholars, marked the 77th Independence Day of Pakistan with a significant tree plantation drive at the QAU Botanical Garden.

The event, aimed at contributing to a greener and more sustainable campus, saw the enthusiastic participation of the university community, who planted a variety of fruit trees across the garden. It was part of a countrywide plantation drive through which ten thousand trees are being planted by the QAU alumni in collaboration with its partners, said a press release.

The celebration was not only an ode to Pakistan's independence but also a pledge by the participants to make QAU an even greener and environmentally friendly institution.
