Sindh govt launches health training program for women

The Sindh government has announced a health training program for women holding pre-medical degrees, aiming to enhance their skills and employment prospects, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
A 24-month-long training program will be conducted in the 30 districts of the province, focusing on empowering women at the grassroots level.
Each participant will receive a stipend of Rs. 5,000 to support them during the training period.
The training, organized by the Department of Population Welfare, will be implemented at the Union Council (UC) level.
The training program will be conducted in union councils of Karachi,
Sanghar, Mithi, Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Nawabshah, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Dadu, Jacobabad and Shikarpur districts.
The Sindh government has called for applications from women holding pre-medical degrees.
Selected candidates would be registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council.
The program specifically targets women up to the age of 35, with applications from pregnant women not being accepted.
