The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has included 156 most wanted suspects involved in human trafficking in its Red Book for 2023, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Eight females are also on the list of these 156 human traffickers.

The accused included in the Red Book are wanted by the FIA in cases registered across the country while the majority of them are related to FIA Punjab cases.

According to the Red Book, a total of 106 accused are wanted in Punjab, 34 in Islamabad, 12 in Karachi, and 2 in Balochistan and KP.

Cases have been registered against the accused wanted by Punjab in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sargodha and Multan.

In this regard, a 5-year National Action Plan against human traffickers and trafficking was established.

The establishment of national, provincial and district TIP committees has also helped in taking action against human trafficking.
