PTI Lahore chapter Ch Asghar Gujjar has been removed while PTI Lahore chapter Secretary General Zeeshan Rasheed has resigned from his post, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ch Asghar Gujjar was appointed as PTI Lahore chapter chief. PTI MPA Sheikh Imtiaz is likely to be appointed as new president of PTI Lahore chapter.

Earlier, PTI leader Hammad Azhar has announced his resignation as PTI Punjab President citing internal lobbying and lack of access to PTI founder Imran Khan. In a tweet on his social account X, Hammad Azhar said that PTI made number of key decisions in Punjab in which his consent and opinion was not included. He said in number of decisions, one sided information was shared with Imran Khan and decision were made on the basis of lobbing instead of observing merit.

He said there was lot of strictness over his movement and he could not go to Adiala Jail. "Unfortunately, I no longer have access to Imran Khan," Azhar tweeted on Thursday, adding, "I did not hold any press conference, nor did I make any deal."

He said some circles were lobbing for a long time to change PTI Lahore chapter head Ch Asghar. Today these elements won.
