Security forces killed seven terrorists and injured another five in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kurram district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.

On 15 August 2024, security forces conducted the IBO against Khwarij in the Kurram district and killed seven and injured another five, the military media wing said, adding that the dead remained involved in numerous terrorist activities.

The security men also destroyed their hideout and seized a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives, it said, adding that the sanitisation is being conducted as the security forces are determined to wipe out terrorism.
