Yumna Zaidi’s ‘Nayab’ to screen at 9th Jaipur Festival

Celebrated Pakistani actress Yumna Zaidi and actor Usama Khan’s starrer “Nayab” has officially been selected for this year’s Jaipur International Film Festival in India.

The first movie of popular Yumna Zaidi is still creating a buzz in the film world after its success at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received two prestigious awards.

This time, the film has been chosen to be screened at the upcoming 9th Jaipur International Film Festival, happening from August 28 to 30.

'Nayab' narrates the tale of a youthful cricketer who encounters multiple obstacles in following her love for the sport. The movie focuses on the challenges encountered by girls, making it a relatable and motivational viewing experience.

Yumna Zaidi excels in her role as the protagonist, portraying a middle-class teenage girl who is determined to pursue her dreams.

Choosing 'Nayab' for the Jaipur International Film Festival showcases the effort and commitment of the cast and crew.

Filmmaker Umeer Nasir Ali, who debuted with 'Nayab', has been awarded the 'Best First Time Filmmaker (Feature)' prize at Cannes.

The entire team is proud of the film's success.

'Nayab' has received two prestigious accolades at the Cannes Film Festival - 'Best International Film' and 'Best First Time Filmmaker (Feature)'.

Being chosen for the Jaipur International Film Festival adds another achievement to the film's list of successes.
