A court in Rawalpindi on Monday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for former PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat in connection with an illegal constructions case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The arrests warrants were issued on a complaint filed by the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) pertaining to unauthorized building activities near Thalian Motorway Interchange by violating its by-laws.

Additional District and Sessions judge Malik Mumtaz Hanjra directed arrest of Sher Afzal Marwat and he should be presented before the court on July 30.

The RDA had got registered a case against Marwat for constructing buildings without permission, violating development regulations.
