Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari spoke about the cases of women who have faced domestic violence and had advice for everyone.

She said that all independent women need to get out as soon as they realize their relationships are abusive.

"I understand that with marriages within the family or Watta Satta, this is not going to be possible or easy", she said.

She further added that parents need to think that they can’t feed their daughters, as their inspiration when they do not help their abused daughters. Her advice was to save lives first and think about all other things in society second.

We have seen many cases of domestic violence and even death. The lack of support from the system, in many cases from their own families and society in general crushes them even more when their cases come to light.
