The Orange Line Metro Train in Lahore has chugged into another trouble as there has been a rupee six billion surge in its annual loan installment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Orange Line train, the flagship project of the previous PML-N government, has been repaying Rs19 billion as its annual loan installment which has now soared to Rs25 billion.

As per budget documents, Rs6 billion loan has been added to the yearly loan installment of the metro train.

Punjab has overall Rs10.27 trillion accumulated loans.
