Taha Shah Badussha has been winning hearts with his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar and being titled as the 'new crush' of the internet.

In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Taha Shah Badussha opened up about the struggle he had to face during the early days of his career and how he was scammed.

The actor was asked if anything ever stopped him or left him thinking about whether he should step forward. To this, the youngster added that it was just a cold call. Talking more about the same, Taha Shah revealed that cold-calling is the best discipline that anybody should go through. Talking about the early stages of his career, Taha mentioned that the longest period of time he had stood in line for the audition was 13 hours during a short film shoot in the UK.

The actor also shared  that he had bagged the role for the short film in the UK, but he could not do it as it had a 4-year contract, and it was not allowed by the actor's father. Talking about the same, he shared that before getting the role in YRF, he had to give 18 auditions a day.

Moreover, he also got scammed at the early stage of his career, as he had paid 4–10 thousand to several offices, and suddenly those offices disappeared.

During the candid conversation with the host, the ‘Heeramandi’ star was asked if there was any fear of looking desperate.

To which he stated that he is desperate and he is a very live example that people should be desperate and obsessed with their passion. The actor said there's nothing wrong or negative with being obsessed and desperate for the things that someone loves, and the obsession will later provide the individual with backup. Taha added that he had been desperate and had been the same; thus, he kept calling people for eight years to get one audition or one role.

However, later, the director shocked him when he offered him the lead role. Taha added that SLB didn't talk to him for a few days after the shooting started and later asked him to sit by him and observe.
